Dude you are the best for calling people on their punctuation! It really
irritates me, thank you for trying to educate the masses! :P

don’t go to dinner on your first date. You don’t know if you will like that
person or if they will like you, you don’t know how much you will have to
talk about. If you choose a scenario where you HAVE to sit opposite of each
other, not being able to look anywhere else than at each other for about at
least one or two hours, it could really become uncomfortable.
I have had a very wonderful first date before on which we did go out to get
dinner, so I am not saying that it will definitely be a disaster, I am just
saying it might be smarter to choose a scenario where you can watch other
people or other things as well (best: things you can then talk about). An
aquarium or zoo, a comedy/stand up show, a walking tour of the city (that
is nice to do even in your own city), whatever floats your boat ;)

Thanks for the advice Matt, you nearly saved my life about the whole “wanna
    hang out” thing

Being southern I’m programmed to acknowledge random strangers with at least
a smile and a nod if not a full spoken greeting and it’s annoying but it’s
    hardwired into my brain.

An earlier time would work better for so many people, even if it’s on a
different day. It’s at 11 p.m. for east coast, and at least 4 a.m. for
people in Europe. I absolutely love that more people are getting on the
hangouts, but it’s not including people in many other time zones. When the
hangout was 8 hours long it was easier because people could come and go,
but now that it’s only 2 hours there is such a short amount of time to
talk. I understand it’s hard to make everyone happy, and I don’t expect you
to try. This is just my opinion.

I suggest professional therapy/counseling for anxiety and panic attacks. I
wish I had continued with mine. Anxiety disorders do not mean you’re crazy
(which is the stigma I had to deal with), but talking and finding the
source(s) can really help. Sorry, not trying to step all over your advice
show +Matt Lieberman , it is just a subject that’s close to me.

I’ve got a different opinion in the case of Nate’s dating ideas. First
dates conversations are freaking awkward and waiting for food while having
those conversations are hellish. So, if you’re serious about her, do an
activity that you can talk but you don’t have to. Examples; wall climbing,
cooking class, dancing class etc. And if there’s snow where you live make a
snowman with her and then coffee, ’cause then you have a reason to say: ”
Do you wanna build a snowman?”

The time is okay with me. It could be earlier, but on Tuesdays, Thursdays,
and Fridays, I don’t have to go to school until 1:00, so I don’t lose too
    much sleep.

I’m sad that this will be that last advice video that I will be able to
watch for the week and that I will be missing the Google Hangout. I’m going
on a retreat and disconnecting from the Internet for a few days. Have fun,
    guys!

Matt, your videos make my day. I’m going through a really hard time, my
life has been a mess this past year and I’m on the path to healing but
watching your videos make my day a little better. I’m glad I found your
    videos! 🙂
