“I’m a fantastic skater” I never really thought about it before, but people
either figure skated/played hockey (if you’re Canadian) and are fabulous
skaters, or never did either and are absolutely atrocious skaters.

Personally, I’d appreciate a personal “DIY” gift from my partner. Either
that, or something that I’d never think to buy for myself but would
    absolutely use/wear.

I’ve been dating this guy for a bit more than a month and his birthday was
last week. I made him a custom made sharpie cup with his phrase and with
all the gummy bears and marshmallows he loves inside 🙂
I thinks its a nice gift to give to a date :)

From a female perspective, please please please TRY to be romantic. I see
this trend in my friend groups where guys see romantic gifts as so
intimidating, like they have to spend a lot of money, and that’s just not
the case. Buy flowers, rent a redbox and snuggle up by the fire, buy a
bottle of wine, write a poem or a few lines in a card about what she means
to you, make little ‘favor’ coupons (sexy or sweet!),just BE CREATIVE and

This year, im getting my guy friend a Ferrari watch, Ferrari wallet, Tom
Hilfiger shirt, Tom Hilfiger underwear and U.S polo vest and socks. From my
point of view, christmas gifts should cost more than a birthday or
anniversary or any other kind of gifts. Idk its just what I believe.
Christmas is more special to some people.

I think a good idea for a gift (whether you are a girl or a guy) is to get
him/her a nice or funny mug, make cake in a mug (my personal favourite is
popsugar girlsguide’s, but you can choose whichever you want), put it in a
basket with a film and maybe other sweets and that’s it.

Gifts can be so fun when you nail it. A gift I got for an ex was a limited
edition old school gameboy (went through an intense bidding war on ebay).
Not sure how sentimental this is but I would personally love protein powder
(or quest bars). Feels like xmas time everytime I stock up

Honestly Ik ashley mentioned photo album or scrapbook or picture in a frame

along those lines i would probably just cry

I’d love for a guy to plan a date, like go all out, and surprise me. Even
if it’s like a progressive dinner through fast food restaurants. Just plan
it, make it special and keep it fun. I would also like to cook a meal with
my significant other if possible. There’s something about that that makes
me happy inside. Or just cuddle with me and watch Netflix with popcorn
and/or hot chocolate. Handmade things would be awesome. Anything
sentimental will get to me, especially if I really like the guy.

To me, all that’s important is that you put thought into the gift. The only
way I’ll get upset is if a guy buys me something just to benefit him or if
it’s obvious he just grabbed the first thing he saw. Usually jewelry is a
safe bet imo even though it’s cliche. Jewelry can be pricey, but Alex and
Ani have cute minimalist bracelets between $25-$40, which isn’t too bad,
and I think they’re darling. It’s hard though because different girls like
different things. Some girls would love a romantic poem, and if your girl’s
the type, go for it. Personally? Romantic poems make me cringe if they’re
not well written, and I am an editor at heart, so probably not the best
idea for me. But on the other hand, if it really is coming from the heart,
I think any girl will appreciate the effort. Also, if you’re not a romantic
guy, don’t force it. Your gift doesn’t have to be the stereotypical
“romantic” gift. What makes a gift romantic is that you honestly consider
the other person’s wants and needs and try to fulfill them in any way you
can. Do that, and any girl will be happy.

The cookie recipe is very similar to something that I make as well; only in
my family we call it boiled cookies. It’s a recipe that my great
grandmother wrote down. I also find that the only people that know what
the cookie is are people from up north seeing as I live in Florida.

The recipe that I make is:
    2 cups sugar
    3 Tablespoons of cocoa
    ½ cup margarine/butter
½ cup milk (you can use soy milk as well)
    ½ cup peanut butter
    3 cups quick oats

    1. Combine sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk in a pot and bring it to a boil
and let it boil for 2 minutes.
    2. Remove from heat; add peanut butter and mix till it’s smooth.
    3. Add oats and mix well.
    4. Drop tablespoons of mixture on to wax paper and let it set to cool down
    and harden.
*if mixture becomes dry while dropping the mixture; add some milk and mix
*if mixture is runny; add some more oats.

It takes about 10-15 min total to make.

Everyone who has had them, absolutely loves them!!

I bought my ex( when we were dating) a pillow ( because he only used one
pillow and I love pillows) and then I bought some fabric (his favorite
color) and hand sewed him a pillow case (super easy) slept with it so it
smelled like me and gave it to him. He loved it and slept with it every
night until I broke up with him and asked for all my stuff back. (he still
has the pillow but just not the case)

I don’t want anyone to take this in the wrong way but could you do a video
about your relationship? Topic ideas of what it’s like dating a YouTuber,
problems that arose because of this fact, and how you maintain a friendship?

I made my bf a blanket for Christmas last year and it’s his favorite thing
ever! I just got two different patterns of fleece that coordinated (one was
camo, the other was tan) and you just lay them out together, one on top of
the other and cut slits about 2 inches deep all around the sides. Then you
tie the two pieces of fleece together all the way around. No-sew (because
I’m not that damn great) and an awesome, sentimental DIY. It was like $20

Get a girl a special edition copy of their favorite book or movie. I know I
would love to receive a book I already have if it has a fancy cover or a
    special note in it.

  • sparkles2lace 3 years ago

I personally have a hard time with gifts because I feel bad letting people
spend money on me! I think if I guy planned a day where he would do holiday
activities with me like watch Christmas movies.. Make a gingerbread house..
And give me a back rub (that’s all I ask for) I would be more than happy 🙂

  • Pu Li 3 years ago

What I would do is say “Guess what I got you”?
then I would base the gift off of the things he/she guessed because it
inclines what they may want without directly asking them “What do you
